It's a miracle, praise Jeeeezus! Nah, it ain't. It's a fucking disgrace to humanity, and in accordance with the bible. Here is the full news article for your consideration - www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/…

A 7-year-old boy was beaten to death by his parents last week after he failed to read the Bible and do his homework, according to Metro Police.

The horrific allegations of child abuse stand in stark contrast to the couple's Facebook pages, which seemingly show a loving and religious family devoted to Roderick Arrington, nicknamed "RJ." On one Facebook photo — apparently of Arrington and his niece — Markiece Palmer wrote: "My babies they make me happy. GOD bless the children!!!" On another photo of the boy and another child, Dina Palmer wrote: "I love them with heart and soul!!!!" A Facebook post from October 2010 reads: "Lord please guide my steps.... I'm trying 2 do better.... I wanna do better 4 my son, my family, myself, 4 you LORD!!!!!!!!

First of all, I guess god evidently considered this prayer kind of irrelevant, and this was his plan after all, or he doesn't exist. Secondly, you stupid journalist obviously haven't read the bible! Here's the lord thy god guiding thy child rearing successes -

"He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." -- Proverbs 13:24

"Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him." -- Proverbs 22:15

"Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." -- Proverbs 23:13-14

So you see, it all makes perfect sense. The mother loves him. The mother believes the bible to be true. If you love your children, the bible says, you beat them for their transgressions. And hey, I'm not even mentioning those verses which say that the child should be put to death for disrespecting his parents.

On another note, let's extend our grace to the WONDERFUL public school system which totally noticed that something was wrong and took the appropriate steps to correct it before it was too late. That was easy, right - a kid showing up with bruises over and over again. Thank you, dear government, for taking care of us. Now I know we can rely on you at the time of need. Go give yourself a fucking medal overpaid administrators, yay!

Man, did I ever mention what a great moral guide the bible is? Hell, if we didn't have the bible how would we ever know what's wrong and what's right? In my limited human ignorance, I would think that beating children and using violence (other than in self defense) is just wrong. However, thanks to the great bronze age moral guide handed down by the lord thy God, © Creator of the Universe and All That Shit ™, I have now realized that beating children is THE way to make them good. I am positively sure that the father's parents beat him, and look how he turned out - an awesome god-fearing Christian! Now, as soon as I find a good lawyer, I will be purchasing a baseball bat and visiting an elementary school near you, spreading morality and saving from hell left and right :o
