I think it's an interesting take on Lake Louise. Quite different from the usual way of portraying it. I like it. :aww:

I think it works very well. It is unique and diversified, and though the foreground grabs most of the attention, the other parts of the photo are dynamic enough to draw the eye beyond.

Like most of the others, I like the foreground and I like the composition for the most part--especially the way that the bright part of the reflection/water leads straight into the vortex of the mountains. If anything, I would actually consider cropping out some of the top of the photo as it would throw the focus completely on the foreground instead of trying to make it into a mountain shot. I think that you are trying to do too much with the photo all in one go. The mountains aren't so great here--it's the forground that has the wonderful interest. Just try a crop just a smidgen above the top of the highest branch and see if you like it.

I love it, the foreground is beautiful, I think it is more the bright sky/clouds that distracts from the rocks and water.. but thats me haha

Foreground works, but the orange of the rock steals the show - it makes it difficult to look away from the bottom of the shot, and the eye ends up getting stuck in the rocks. It's a beautiful shot of Lake Louise, though.

I agree with the others- it's nice, but it distracts from the water. Toning it down a smidge might do the trick.

The foreground is interesting, but the red-orange is perhaps too vivid. I wouldn't crop it, just tone it down a little.

Personally I enjoy the foreground. Mother nature is messy - I think it adds a kind of real-ness and content/

Well, It's beautiful. Like all your work is, but I do think that the foreground is very distracting.
