I think every landscape photographers knows that feeling. It's too late, I can't be where I ought to be to take a photo of this amazing sight. Alas, run out to the back yard and try to capture a tiny piece of the beauty

Location: Terra Nova, Richmond, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 10-24mm.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 from 3 x RAW shot in 1.5 EV exposures.

How many bracket shots? Just a pair at +/- 1.5 stops?

You should check out exposure fusion too if you've not heard of it. Gives you a more natural result, if the over-vibrancy is not desired. (also gets rid of halos)
