Thompson River is the largest tributary of the Fraser River, flowing through the south-central portion of British Columbia, Canada. On the right, you can just see Highway 1.

I go rafting on it every summer :) It doesn't look like much from this far away, but the waves can get up to 2-3 meters tall, and flip big rafts like it's nothing.

Really great detail here. Beautiful light. I would like to see the sky pop a bit more, but I have a feeling it's not what you're going for. Nice work.

My hometown :hug: Er, homeRIVER.

They don't really allow rafting anymore where I grew up, alas. Too many casualties. Sure was fun, though.

This is a beautiful photo. I love the warm light in the distance.
