This is more of a puddle than a lake, and a true mosquito fest. It's a melt pool left over from the snow which totally covered these meadows just a couple of weeks ago. On the upper left, you can see the famous Black Tusk peeking out.
Location: Taylor Meadows on the way to Black Tusk and Panorama Ridge, Garibaldi Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer. Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW exposures.
