One of my favorite vacation spots - Huatulco, Mexico! This is Tangolunda Bay, where I stayed.
Taken with Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm at around 6:45 am at sunrise. HDR, taken from two JPEG exposures - one for the sky, and one for everything else. Shot at the same location -
Download includes up to 2560x1600, 2560x1440, and 1600x1200.
Please note that although the sky might look like a stacked bunch of clouds which I photoshopped on top of each other this is NOT the case.
Composition is chosen well, using a low angle works well in the picture. Meaning you capture the waves as well as the sun dancing off the sea.
The colours are captured beautiful, lovely and crisp. The range of colour is impressive. The textures of the sand so amazing, i have never seen such well captured detail of sand.
The cloud depth adds another layer to the picture, which works well again.
I would change anything to the picture, the composition works with the picture. The colour and the depth work well.
I love this set and angle of how this picture is layed out. The vision is clearly beautiful and amazing you got it on a angle that is set where you can see most of the landscape wich is a 5/5 for me.
The originality i think it is very unique from most sunset photos or sunrise. But there are loads of sunset and sunrise photo's so for originality would have to be 3.5 stars.
The technique you used, Is absolutely unique how the sun is set on the ocean while the waves are splashing on the on to the sand. is gorgous 5 stars!
