It was sunny all the way, but just above the lakes there was a big cloud which wouldn't move. It made it freezing cold, but there was no wind.

The choice of horizon creates an imbalance, seen through the contrasting rocky environment with the smooth reflective water. This mirrors a sense of hierarchy, as the large trees and mountains are seen sticking the water, reflecting and almost appearing elongated. The beautiful reflection of the sky upon the water gives one a sense of asymmetry, as the viewer feels as though they could be lost quickly in flora.
The way in which the photo is taken gives the viewer an overwhelming understanding of nature's dominance over them, as the beautiful environment appears peaceful yet slighting menacing. Such a wonderful shot.
