Wind and rain are the two things I really hate about this place. About once per year we get a day when both are absent at sunset. That was yesterday :) The tide just happened to be out as well, so I scrambled down some slippery boulders right to the water.

North arm of the Fraser in Richmond, Beautiful British Columbia!

HDR from five exposures merged with Photomatix Pro 4.0 taken with Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm.

I really do love your sunset collection! I am not a professional photographer so I can't critique your work on that level, but as a viewer/fan I can say that your work stunning! For just a brief moment I feel like I have been transported into another world. I can almost hear the birds as they disappear into the horizon and the gentle rippling of the water. I can feel the sand on my feet, the fading warmth of the setting sun, and for just a brief moment I can smell the cool, damp sand as a gentle breeze passes by. I feel calm and at peace.

Thank you for sharing your work! The water is so beautiful in this photo! It looks like glass!
