Last hot day this year. I already long for it!

Location: Heather Trail, Manning Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW exposures.

Something about this photo really draws me in. We've all seen plenty of photos with this subject, but this photo captures my eye!
The curve in the trail pulls you up the hill into clouds that seem to be popping out of the photo. It has an almost 3D quality where the land meets the sky. I love the roughness of the grass and the colors throughout the entire image. There is a small solar flare in the bottom left corner that distracts a little when examining the photo, but other than that this is truly an amazing shot!
I only wish you could have made this a wider angle shot so I could see more of this landscape.

Wow, everything about Canada is so beautiful. I remember my trip to Vancouver and some national parks. It was great.
