Everything looked profoundly boring until 5 minutes after the sun went down. I was wearing my hiking boots, which came in handy when I climbed down to those slipper rocks. Had to be really careful, especially considering that I was pretty excited about the light.

I also want to point out the log. I believe this is a result of the same actions of the flying birds.
The sunset which colors the entire image, though, is what really makes this piece shine. Dying the Landscape in hughes of red and yellows, and causing the clouds to look even more saturated with color (in a good way). It makes the entire sky look like a watercolor painting and the sea become phenomanally detailed.
The shading on the mountains also adds to the paint-like effect, and they stand out to me. They also add effect to this picture and add beauty. Without them, it would look more plain.
I think the contrast toward the top could have been cropped, because it does not make the picture, but that is just me. I also think the writing in the corner could be omitted, but I know that that is so that no one can steal the image.
In all, this is a 5 star image.
