Taken with Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm at around 6:40 am at sunrise. The sunstar effect is due to f/11, which was used instead of my usual f/8.

Download includes up to 2560x1600, 2560x1440, and 1600x1200.

I only have one thing I'd like to change: crop the photo on the right side, where the red are just until the cliff there. It is not looking bad as it is, but I want to either see more of the red or not see it at all. It gives the feeling that something is missing.

This photo brings out emotions of joy and loneliness and beauty. The colors are wonderful and the contrasts between the bright colors from the sun and the faded colors by the beach makes the photo look a bit different from other types of sunset/sunrise-photos I've seen. The angles of the sunbeam, clouds, waterlines etc are all in a kind of ordered chaos and brings a lot of harmony to the lonely sun. The focuspoint are in my opinion the sun, I explore the photo from the sun and out and that it is just as it should be.
