is located about half way between Vancouver
. At the beginning of July, the area from which I took this photo was still covered by over one meter of snow! If you are curious, check out the precise location
on Google Maps. The hike there is fairly easy, and it only takes 3 hours of steady, relaxed walking. I would say that this is one of the most accessible beautiful lakes in BC. Interestingly, all the water you see in the photo is part of the lake. The widely varying appearance from the foreground to the background is caused mostly by different depths.
