For me, the amazing thing in this photo is the color of the water. In reality, the Fraser is dirty gray in color. However, the reflection of the clouds made it appear like ink here

The depth of it all really seems to strike each viewer in a different way, but I recognize that the water seemingly goes on forever, leaving a beautiful concept in the audience's mind.
The color scheme of this piece is amazing, really drawing in your eyes with high-contrast, and quickly getting your attention amidst a sea of deviations.
The picture also features a main centre of focus, and also portrays the ethereal glow of the sun with the rule of thirds.
