First Frost by IvanAndreevich First Frost by IvanAndreevich
Garibaldi Lake in mid-October, Beautiful British Columbia. Not so brilliantly blue anymore (as in September) due to the lower sun, but certainly interesting with the fresh snow around. Download is 1920x1200.

The colors look absolutely stunning. I love how the water towards the front looks like a blurry mirror. While towards the back it's a streak of baby blue. The shadows hit the trees in a very beautiful way. The left side gives off a calm atmosphere. Giving me the sence of untouched. The right though makes me think of adventures, romance, life. The inter picture makes me think that God had dicided to paint that day. Only people with great talents can capture such a beautie. I will alway look at you pictures for inspiration. Can I ask you a question? How do you stand still to take such a clear picture? My account name is tomari1998.

Very nice compositions, beautiful filter work. The HDRs look way cooked, but that's the nature of that tool.

Are some of these tilt-shift? I ask because the depth of field is impressive.

All in all, some really beautiful work!

I need to redo this one.. too many HDR artifacts. 11mm lens has infinite depth of field :)

This is a stunning shot with amazing clarity! :wow: I love how the colours of the trees and plants (especially the red) on the left side of the lake contrast with those on the right. The lighting on the mountains in the background looks lovely too. Great work!

The beautiful of this photo really pulls you in. The fallen trees in the foreground and slope in the middle distance and the mountains in the background the light is prefect.

Fantastic picture and prospective.

I need to get up to Vancouver again sometime (darn the fact that soon I will be in Florida again, goodbye West Coast...sigh...).

Anyways, what I really like about this photo is the slope of the mountain on the right and towards the left the mountain shone with orange along with white. Amazing!

It's much cheaper than that. A ticket to Vancouver, 2 hours of driving, and 2-3 hours of walking.

It's amazing, how the light in late October changes everything. :) Water goes from brilliantly blue to dark navy blue. I love it.

Not nearly enough :) Just second time this year, and ever actually. I've been there many times but I've always gone to Black Tusk, or Panorama Ridge.

I've been up there the one time, it would be great to explore the entire area. I'd like to get in some hiking north of Pemberton too :)
