Equipment: Lumix GX1 + 14-42X + Hoya C-PL
Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 from 3 RAW exposures.

And yes, there are many many boarded up buildings here... This is near the Fox Theater (and the other stadiums,) though. It's not quite as bad here. It is sad, but the city is slowly remaking itself, starting in the downtown area.

The Golden hour is very beautiful, some heritage buildings are abandoned, some are still used today. Seeing these buildings preserved is one way of keeping the heritage of the 1920s. :D

The gorgeous contrasting lighting with the complementary colours makes this feel almost painterly, even when you look at it up close. Vivid colours seem to be a hallmark of your gorgeous photography; thanks for uploading another great shot! :D:heart:
