I can only marvel at the process which produced contour lines (like the curves in a topographic map, and actually accurate here) on the yellow snow. Nature is amazing and wonderful.

Location: Wedgemount Lake, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW shot with AEB +1.5 EV, 0, -1.5 EV exposures.

My... this is amazing. I wish I could find a place like that here, in Italy. The colours are so marvellous, they seem painted. Is this glacier in a national park?
