I used the equivalent of a red graduated filter in post-processing to light up the sky.

It can be so easy to take a photograph of a sunset/sunrise yet so hard to get it right and to make it beautiful. In this photograph you really captured that element.
I particularly love the texture in the sand. it appears to have been freshly raked making it very flat and hard looking. It adds a really cool effect as for me it looks like the water is just rolling off a hardwood floor.
And the sky. I think it's been said already by every one of your commenter's but that colour is phenomenal. Despite the well known topic of photograph you used here it is a stunning photograph with rich colours and originality in the sand.
