The sky was awesome, and I can't deny the fact that I failed. I should have done better!

Location: North arm of the Fraser River, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.0 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW exposures.
Download: Up to 2560x1600, 2560x1440, and 1600x1200.

Yeah yeah- I was reading a previous comment, and I'd like to add that the dreamy, misty eye affect this picture has is really captivating. Two thumbs up and a big smile to go along with it.

The sky is awesome but compared to your other works this one is rather iffy. It seems pretty blurry as if you had a salt water layer on your lens when you shot this. Ha It looks like something I would've taken... Glad you pointed out that you could've done better otherwise I would feel kinda bad saying that to someone with so many inspiring images.

Awesome! One tip: Take this final result (this jpeg file) and put it into PS. Duplicate the layer. Go to filter, other, high pass. Set it to around 10 (I went with 9.3). Now go to the blending mode of the layer and select "Overlay." Tell me what you think. I thought it made just a teeny improvement on an already epic piece. :D
